Primers
Primers
Beginners often wonder what a nail primer is. This is a liquid base product that is suitable for cleaning, degreasing and drying the nail plate. It does not create additional layers, like a base or top, and prepares the basis for applying decorative coatings. It also protects nails from aggressive components, prevents delamination and cracking.
How to choose a nail primer
Primers are divided into two types. For example, acidic is suitable for building up with polygel or acrylic. It contains methacrylic acid, which lifts the scales on the surface of the nail plate and provides adhesion to the material. But acid-free primer does not contain aggressive components and is used when creating a regular coating. It also degreases and does not change the pH level, suitable for thin, problematic and sensitive nails.
And in order to use the primer correctly, you need to know its features. Here are some of them:
- The product can only be dried with an ultraviolet lamp.
- The primer is applied to natural nails after the dehydrator and before the base.
- Before applying the substance, you need to remove excess product from the brush, and then blot with a lint-free napkin.
So, having familiarized yourself with the types of primers and the nuances of its use, you will create a beautiful and durable manicure.
